Who we are

Greg’s Sedona Retreats is operated by Greg Getner, a Sedona-based short-term rental host. This policy describes how we handle information you provide when you visit gregsretreats.com, book a stay, or contact us.

Information we collect

• Booking information: when you book a stay, Hospitable (our booking platform) collects your name, email, phone, payment details, and reservation dates on our behalf. Hospitable handles payment securely via PCI-compliant processors; we never see your full card number.
• Contact information: if you email or message us, we keep your name, email address, and the content of your messages so we can reply and follow up.
• Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages visitors use. This is privacy-preserving — it does not set cookies, does not track across sites, and does not collect IP addresses or personal identifiers.

How we use it

We use your information to confirm and manage bookings, answer your questions, and improve the site and your stay. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

SMS & text messaging

Phone numbers we collect through bookings or directly from our cleaning contractors may be used to send transactional SMS notifications — for example, booking confirmations, arrival logistics, or payment confirmations to contracted cleaners. We do not send marketing SMS. We do not share phone numbers with third parties for their marketing. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for assistance, or email greg@gregsretreats.com. SMS service is provided through Twilio; mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third parties we work with

• Hospitable — booking, messaging, and payment processing
• Vercel — website hosting
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-preserving page-view analytics
• Supabase — content storage (blog posts and similar)
• Resend — transactional email (booking notifications, replies)
• Twilio — transactional SMS (booking logistics, payment confirmations to our cleaning team)

Each of these vendors has their own privacy policy. We share only the information necessary to deliver the service in question.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required to operate the site and accept a booking. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. Email greg@gregsretreats.com and we’ll handle it promptly. If you’re a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA; if you’re in the EU/UK, GDPR. Either way — same email, same promptness.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be called out clearly at the top of this page.
